Date: Saturday, May 28, 2011!
By combining physical and mental challenges along with some tight competition, teams of four to five will face off to win. We are looking for the bravest, strongest and smartest organizations to participate in an adrenaline-pumping, mind-boggling, nerve-wracking day!
Last year was a really exciting day with lots of friendly competition. Challenges included acting out scenes from Peter Pan with Neptune Theatre; Remedy Spa helped our teams with manicures and Atlantica Hotel hosted a housekeeping challenge. Teams were tested on their athletic ability through soccer and basketball drills, and mental skills were tested through our scavenger hunts and searching for information at the Spring Garden Public Library.
Coca-Cola Commanders took top spot with a narrow lead of Chester Cheetahs. Cyril Lunney and Heidi Petracek from Breakfast Television had lots of laughs participating in this amazing event!
This year will be even better. The RBC Amazing Challenge is an opportunity for team building, organizational development and a fun way for friends to challenge one another. Teams will work together to raise much needed funds for the AIDS Coalition of Nova Scotia. We are committed to assist team members, organizations and corporations in developing fundraising tips and prepare for the day.
By participating in this event you will gain exposure through our press releases, event launches and online recognition. We will have media following our teams on race day, and our first place team will have a night out on us for their team…and full bragging rights, of course!
Please join us. Come help to make difference in the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS!
