Treat cheat: Butterless, sugarless, adaptable cookies for the holidays.
Baked goods are unavoidable at this time of year. Take control of your treats with this adaptable recipe—invaluable to the health conscious baker. This recipe can be made with or without the candy.
Toffeifee candies are a German classic: Nougat cream, topped with a dollop of chocolate and a whole hazelnut. A treat, yes, but these cookies curb the butter and sugar, making this treat a little more healthy while still being a crowd-pleaser for friends and family.
