Bios for instructors:

Elaine Fitzgerald Muise

Elaine Fitzgerald Muise has been teaching fitness for over 20 years. She holds her national certification with CanFit Pro and her International Certifications with Les Mills. She presently teaches many disciplines at Goodlife Fitness. Her Zumba classes at the Penhorn Goodlife location are packed with 80+ participants.  The members love her humour, playfulness and fun personality.  Elaine is also quite hardcore teaching Body Combat and Body Pump and can take you to a calmer place with Body Flow.

Elaine has been managing and hosting Fitness Getaways with Cape Breton Resorts for 10 years.  Fitness is Elaine’s passion! Elaine’s motto – “We take good care of our cars – regular service and tune ups — more people need to treat their bodies like a machine and get to the gym for regular service and tune ups”, it is the key to health and longevity!

 

Nicolle Spagnoli

Nicolle is an award-winning fitness instructor who’s been teaching and preaching the joy of exercise for over 15 years, in disciplines ranging from kickboxing, boot camp and hi/lo aerobics to aquafit, Zumba, BodyPump and RPM. She’s been voted Top Fitness Instructor in Halifax twice, and presented at fitness conferences throughout Atlantic Canada, including canfitpro, the largest provider of education in the Canadian fitness industry.

Renowned for her fun and challenging classes, Nicolle’s philosophy is, “If you don’t love what you do, you’re not going to want to do it,” and acting as half drill sergeant/half stand-up comedienne, she motivates participants to constantly push their perceived limits.
