Healthy start simple breakfast recipe with oatmeal
No not earth worms, oatmeal! This is a great breakfast starter or midday snack. Oatmeal is great for your digestive system. It is a complex carbohydrate that gives you energy for hours!
» ½ cup of instant oatmeal
» 1 to 2 cups of distilled water
» 20 raisins
» 1 tablespoon of 100% real maple syrup (no sugar added)
Boil the water. Add raisins. This is the secret. The raisins get moist and hot and swell. Tasty! Then add oatmeal, cook 2 to 5 minutes, until smooth and everything is mixed well. Pour into a bowl or use a plate for a challenge. Top with maple syrup and enjoy!
