(NOVA SCOTIA)- Mountain bikers have been invading the Courthouse Hill Farm in Gore, Nova Scotia for the past 13 years to celebrate Mountain Biking. This year Gorefest takes place August 6th and 7th.

The main attraction is either a 4 or 8 hour endurance race over a 6 -7 km course with climbs, descents, rocks, roots and flow.  That’s not all though, as events Saturday include Youth Races, wheelie contests, bike toss, and night crits.   New for 2011 there will be a vendor area and Swap meet.  As always there is free camping on Saturday night.

This is an event that brings together mountain bikers from racers to recreational riders to get together, share some laughs, tell some stories while challenging themselves through a 4 or 8 hour endurance event.  The course is suitable for all ages and experience levels.
