Food is fuel! Falafel isn’t just delicious, it’s also filled with amazing health benefits. The Middle Eastern Magic Meal has a foundation of vegetables, herbs, beans and whole grains that can help lower your risk of diseases, including obesity, diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular disease.



1 cup falafel mix
1 1⁄2 cups of water


Mix falafel mix and water together in a medium bowl. Set aside and let thicken for 15-20 minutes.

Heat oven to 375o Fahrenheit.

Roll falafel mix into small hand-shaped balls and gently flatten on a lined cookie sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes, turn over and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until done.

You can use a toothpick to poke the falafels to test if they are fully cooked inside. The toothpick should be dry, not be sticky, after poking.
